Kiara, a six-month-old infant, has been experiencing recurrent respiratory infections. Upon evaluation at the Save Kids Trust clinic, pediatric specialist Dr. Rinku— a SKT program director and wife of Dr. Sharwan Saini—conducted a thorough assessment and identified an underlying cardiac condition contributing to her symptoms.
Dr. Rinku prescribed the appropriate medications that will help Kiara immediately. Then she will oversee Kiara’s follow-up care. Save Kids Trust is providing all necessary treatments and pharmaceuticals as part of its ongoing support.
Kiara’s condition will be monitored over the next six months. At one year of age, a comprehensive review, which will include evaluations at the local hospital where Dr. Rinku works, will determine the next steps in her treatment plan.
