Dev's Smile Reflects Hope & Care

1 min read

Dev’s bright smile says it all. He is finally healthy, comfortable, and back to being a cheerful child. But just a few weeks ago, his little life was filled with intense pain and fever.

His father brought him to the Save Kids Trust (SKT) clinic when Dev developed a high fever. During the examination, our doctor discovered that two days earlier, while playing in the street, Dev had accidentally burned his right leg on the hot exhaust pipe of a neighbor’s motorcycle.

The small burn quickly became infected and caused a very high fever. The family had applied a home remedy to the burn, which made the condition even worse.

Dev’s father is a daily-wage construction worker who works hard to support his family. His responsibilities extend far beyond earning a living. He cares for his three children, his wife, and his elderly parents. The family lives together in a small, rented room, making life a daily struggle.

After two weeks of continuous medical treatment, proper wound care with bandages, and careful monitoring, Dev made a full recovery.

Today, at the SKT clinic, seeing Dev smile without pain brings us immense joy. Stories like his remind us why our mission at Save Kids Trust matters: ensuring that every child, regardless of financial hardship, receives the compassionate care they deserve.
