Skin conditions are much worse in the summer heat.

After getting help from Save Kids Trust, this teen boy has a huge smile on his face. He goes on to record a video thank you during the street clinic event.

Suraj, 12 years old, came to our Save Kids Trust (SKT) street clinic with complaints of fever, pain, and numerous pustules all over his face. He was diagnosed with Impetigo, a contagious bacterial skin infection. Initially, his parents, who are daily wage workers earning very little, took him to a local unregistered practitioner, which worsened his condition. Suraj also has four elder siblings.

At the clinic, when Suraj approached the SKT doctor, the doctor and nursing staff listened carefully to his concerns, provided immediate emergency assistance, and began appropriate treatment for Impetigo.

SKT offered Suraj full support through antibiotics, wound care, and medical counseling.

Suraj is now very happy that he has completely recovered! He is so thankful he asked to make the video below!

Impetigo is highly contagious, especially in crowded and poor hygienic conditions, which makes it common in slum areas during hot and humid weather.

Suraj says, "Thank You!"
