Educational Clinic teaches best hand-hygiene practices

In slum communities, abdominal pain is a common problem among children.
Most of it comes from poor hygiene — but when clean water and soap are hard to find, washing hands becomes a challenge.
At Save Kids Trust, we gently remind children again and again to wash their hands whenever possible.
Each small reminder, each tiny effort, helps protect them from illness and builds a healthier future — one clean hand at a time.
Dr. Saini describes proper technique for washing hands to a group of young children Another photo of the educational seminar A box of treats awaits for the children at the end of the seminar on hand-washing techniques. With younger children, educational seminars often start with an activity that helps them calm down and focus. We hope you enjoy this collage of coloring from the children of the Banjara Basti, below. It is fun to see what they draw!

This smiling girl has a decorative 'LOVE', a globe, and Hindi characters on her coloring paper. This young boy's eyes are partially hidden by his coloring of the India flag and a house. This girl is happy sharing the coloring of a house. This boy is happy to show his colorful globe.
