Breathing Needs

Respiratory illnesses peak in the winter months in Jaipur. A lot of this is due to the poor air quality in the city which is unavoidable unless you have the resources to have air purifiers in your home and vehicle.

We spent an hour at a Save Kids Trust clinic and saw four children being examined and treated for breathing and coughing illnesses. This one child needed immediate nebulizer treatment as well as medication. Having a nebulizer is a newer benefit for the clinics but it is also a bit more expensive because the tube & mask must be sent home with the patient for their future use only. But we also know that this young boy left the clinic breathing easier and with medications to help him get better.  

If you have ever accompanied someone getting a nebulizer treatment, you know how much better that person feels with this intervention. Every patient left with medications to help them get better.
