Second Generation SKT Patient takes Overnight Train to Seek Help

Jai, an 18-month-old child, is currently unable to walk independently. While it's typical for babies to start walking before this age, Jai's situation is unique.
Anika, Jai's mother, is 20 years old and has a long-standing connection with the SKT clinic from her childhood. Despite being married and having a young child, she traveled from another state (Gujarat) to seek advice and care for her child at the SKT clinic. Anika's trust in our clinic led her to bring Jai here.
Upon examination, SKT took Jai to our local government children's hospital to consult with a pediatrician. The necessary investigations revealed that Jai is dealing with anemia, low weight, malnutrition, and developmental delays. We provided counseling and explained proper home treatments to Anika.
Anika left our clinic feeling reassured and grateful. She understands that with time and improved health, Jai will eventually walk independently. Despite the overnight train journey, Anika firmly believes that seeking diagnosis and treatment at the SKT clinic was well worth the effort.
