The latest fall Health Awareness on Menstrual and Anemia was a breakthrough for the young women participating. Groups were formed with the girls and a leader was appointed who could keep in communication with each individual person in the group. The main topic was taught in the large group, but the teams met in small groups to discuss afterwards. The Save Kids Trust leadership found that many girls are very open to asking questions now! It was a fun event, and the team leaders will now help track the individuals in between meetings. Teams were also assigned a ‘home clinic’ to go to when they need supplies or interventions, and the clinics are pleased with this arrangement.
